The company undertakes to take all reasonable care of the stock including requesting reasonable veterinary attention in respect to stock health. Dairy Grazing Limited maintains close monitoring of stock with regular reports to the Owner.

The cows will be fed a minimum of kgs of dry matter per day, consisting of an agreed suitable diet of pasture and/or maize silage, grass silage or palm kernel. Winter cow grazing rates are calculated on a ‘kilogram of dry matter’ basis, so you have the choice of between 9 – 15 kg per day.

Feed budgets are updated every week to ensure optimum stock health and weight gain. With total herd winter cow grazing both property maintenance and grass growth can be optimised, and you, the farmer, can enjoy a well earned break, knowing your valuable stock are well cared for.
